Archives & Special Collections
The University Library Department of Archives and Special Collections houses the Special Collections, Archives, and Rare Book Collections of CSU Dominguez Hills, and maintains the department's digital collection pages. The University Library Department of Archives and Special Collections also serves as the home of the Archives of the California State University System.
One of the main functions of the Archives is to allow students access to primary sources.

About Archives & Special Collections
Archives and Special Collections materials relate to the history of South Bay Los Angeles and its communities, as well as the history of the CSU Dominguez Hills, the CSU System, and higher education in California.
Archives holdings include records of the Rancho San Pedro, the Dominguez Family businesses, the Asian Pacific History Collection, the papers of legislators Glenn Anderson and Juanita Millender-McDonald, and resources on the 1910 Los Angeles International Aviation Meet.
Rare book collections include the Buckner Collection of American Popular Fiction and the Glen Schwendemann Collection that includes books dating back to the 16th century.
